Ekay plc ("Ekay" or the "Company"), a leading regional advertising and marketing agency, is pleased to announce the appointment on 9 May 2008 of John Foley to the Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director.
John Foley has over 20 years' experience developing and managing businesses within in a variety of sectors. He has operated at senior management level and acted in the capacity of Non Executive Chairman of fourteen companies since commencing his career in 1978 with the firm known now as PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Mr Foley moved to Triplex Lloyd Plc in 1989 becoming Group Managing Director and in 1994 he became the Chief Executive of the MacLellan Group plc. He oversaw the transformation of MacLellan from a loss making company through to its admission to AIM in 2000. Furthermore, he oversaw 13 acquisitions and 4 disposals and the MacLellan Group itself was eventually sold for £120 million to Interserve Plc in 2006.
The Company also announces that Julian Paul has on 9 May 2008 resigned from the Board as a Non-Executive Director. The Board would like to thank Mr. Paul for his contributions over the last two years.
Michael Richards, Chief Executive Officer, Ekay, commented:

The integration of the two businesses is largely complete leaving management free, once again, to focus on income generation.
