Board Appointment

Ekay PLC ("Ekay" or the "Company"), the AIM quoted advertising and marketing company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Lording to the Board with immediate effect. Mike will continue in his existing role as Finance Director and Company Secretary.

He replaces Stuart Cumberland, who had previously filled this role on a part-time basis. Stuart's help was invaluable in achieving our AIM listing in January 2006, but it was apparent to the Board that a full-time appointment was required as the Company grew both organically and through acquisition.

Mike, 49, has been with Ekay since April 2007, becoming Finance Director and Company Secretary in June 2007.

Mike has been a career company accountant since starting work in 1980 with the Department of Employment. He has since been employed by a number of companies initially in the role of project accountant and in 1999 became finance director of Telia International Carrier Ltd, the UK subsidiary of the Swedish national telecoms carrier.

In 2003, he co-founded and successfully built up a communications carrier business, T-Liason Ltd.

Immediately prior to joining Ekay, Mike spent sixteen months as a financial consultant to Frans Maas (UK) Ltd and AXA UK. 

There are no other disclosures required by paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies.
